Futa Hunter — Reviewed!

Another cool peep review, hot on the heels of the last one! This time Sally Bend from Bending the Bookshelf (you would not believe how long it took me to get the gender-bender wordplay there, like months!) took a look at Futa Hunter: Do Sexual Androids Enjoy Wet Dreams? to see if she liked it. I think she did!

Yes, they do.

I am here to tell you that Futa Hunter is the dark, kinky, gender-bent version of Blade Runner you have been craving. Kella Z. Driel always tells a fun, sexy tale, but this may very well be one of her best…

This is a bit of a darker tale than fans might be used to, especially with the erotic humiliation of the opening strip-search, but it is still a lot of fun. Without giving away any further details, there are even some little anime/hentai touches to Newhalf City that brighten up the second half of the story and give it a kinky little boost.

Gosh, I don’t know what to say except–thanks! 🙂

As always, if you’re not following Sally’s blog already–you should be. She delivers up thoughtful, timely, knowledgeable reviews about almost every flavor of transgender erotica with a critical eye…no tall order!

Plus, every Friday she rounds up the latest freebies in the genre, too!

Sissy Maid – Reviewed!

Been a while since I got to share one of these cool peeps reviews, but in case you missed it, erotica auteur extraordinaire Lyka Bloom took the time to review Sissy Maid: For a Kinky Couple on her blog at lykabloom.com. About this story, she goes on to say:

First, Kella can write a story. Aside from a few typos here and there, too few to be a problem, she dispenses with an overarching narrative in favor of a focus on one sliver of experience, namely that of Jenny Sweet, the assumed sissy name of Jacob, a devoted submissive to his Mistress Buffy…

While the plot isn’t necessarily the focus here, there is enough story and detail to give it the narrative weight the story needs to do its real job – being hot as all get out. From the first pages, readers are given a peek into Jenny’s life as a sissy, the way she serves and the way she pleases.

Typos! What typos! I don’t see any typos!1! 🙂

The review is a fun, enjoyable read–you should check it out and follow her blog, she’s one of the few people out there who (along with superstar Sally Bend) regularly reviews the TG fiction on Amazon. With any luck, I’ll be able to interview her soon.

Most of my stories don’t get any reviews on Amazon, which is kinda the par for the course there. But SISSY MAID: FOR A KINKY COUPLE received two negative reviews, only the second and third negative reviews I’ve ever received as I recall, so Lyka’s take makes me feel better about the whole saga of Jacob the Boat-Sissy.  🙂

Thanks!

Kor the Savage – Reviewed

Google Alerts is supposed to alert me of any Internet activity involving the wondrous and famous Kella Z. Driel name.

Supposed to.

So imagine my surprise when blundering through Facebook I came across a charming, flattering, and altogether lovely review of one of my earlier works of erotic fantasy, by talented auteur and critic Sylvia Storm. While she doesn’t give out numerical or star ratings, she was intrigued by the sexy saga of Kor and its vivid tale:

Savage swords-and-sorcery barbarian meets futanari Amazon chieftain in a violent world?  I’m in.

The Reviews Are In!

It’s rare for erotica to receive a formal, professional review, let alone one in a print magazine. For the most part, the feedback we do receive comes straight from readers via Amazon, Goodreads, and social media. That’s why it’s so exciting for me to announce that the current issue of Transformation Magazine includes a one page review of Sissy Pack!

If you’re not familiar with the magazine, its tagline is The Future of Gender and it’s the number one-selling print magazine in the US.
